Title: Newbie got a family boat !!
Post by: Shocker_04 on June 25, 2015, 09:58:35 AM: Hey everyone, Ive been a member here for almost a year now and I think this is my first post. I just recently got rid of the ol flattys and picked up a more family friendly float. I made sure to stick with a jet so im still accepted lol. We have taken the new boat out a few times and love it, we always go to Silverwood so hopefully we can meet some of you guys this season. Now I think im going to have to change my member name :banghead: I think Brad is working on that for me.

Post by: Shocker_04 on June 25, 2015, 11:43:19 AM: When Ive got 4 Adults in the boat, both tanks half full and fairly calm water, im screaming at about 4000 rpm but only doing about 35mph, does this seem about right? or should I have the wear ring and impeller checked out. I opened the hand hole and didn't find any obstructions.

Post by: Hddaddy on June 25, 2015, 11:51:17 AM: Well I am sure others will chime in, but sounds like you got a problem. I have 1 50 gallon tank and I run at 5000 rpm with a full tank and 6 adults at 55-60 mph.

Who does everyone recommend for pump work in the Riverside area?

My speedo always is showing around 35mph. Check your Gps I bet you will be in the low 40s at 4000rpm which is about right for that heavy boat & load that's about where my 07 21 eliminator runs. It will top out at 60mph at about 4800 to 4900 rpm. Speedos suck!!!
