I am looking at adding a stereo system to my boat and am looking for a way to mount without cutting into the dash. Thinking a fiberglass console will be the hot ticket.

I used a Stereo box from Fry's electronics, it contains the head unit and I just fastened it to a small piece of plywood I glassed to the underside of the gunwale, worked out just fine for this redneck, it was cheap too.  ;D
