Title: Working on New Design 2012 version
Post by: wizard612 on July 23, 2012, 04:25:51 PM
Thought I would post up some views of my latest 3D model of my dream circle boat. Named it Man-O-War after the triple crown winner of the late 30's.
Comments are appreciated. By the way after 3 years trying I got my first job offer... Looks like I'll be a High School Teacher - Pre-engineering, digital graphic, and Solid Works CAD.

Features: Aero and Hydro dynamically balanced, Formula One style sponson design to reduce catching a chine, deep air tunnels for rougher water conditions, Angle of attack computer controlled canard and flap/spoiler, APBA aproved canopy, HOTAS w/ Joystick steering and left hand throttle. right foot canard override and left foot flap/spoiler override. Component construction  with sponsons bolted/glued to wing section. Composite cross spars and full height and length composite stringers, five point driver harness w/ air supply.  Motor specs in progress.  Custom headers to clear wing section. What do you guys think twin 1150's or Kinser Injection?

No problem on colors just need two things 1) you want it in fiberglass or Carbon Fiber? and 2) a $250,000 deposit so we can start building the plugs!!!

Blown gas or injected alcohol would help out the existing teams that already have an engine package going.

Maybe a "spec" class with an EFI small block as a stepping stone to the big inch class.

How about return to KJ and we put a Wilton motor in it!
However that makes my fantasy boat a class of one. would you guys let me come play with you for a while until it's sorted out and other lotto winners buy them up?
