1969 tahatti with a 455 olds and a berk 12jc pump....pics to come

so the project is underway!!  heads are gunna be rebulit, carb to, and the intake and valve covers are gunna get powder coated and the engine mounts and exhaust are gunne get polished

and the we are gunna redo the seat frames and need to find someone to recover them for a good price

Nice looking machine. What is it? how much?, and.....how much beer was involed? lol (the pic downing a beer by SOMEONE is impressive and disconcerting at the same time!)

The one downing the beer is 78 Cent in person, and the scoop actually belongs to Busby69tahita, who might be willing to trade for some So Cal Stickers if available in a timely fashion.....

pick it up for 500 and a 12 pack and 2 sparks is what we were working with

I would first start off by talking to some other people whom have successfully ran tahiti's like this one.
Run their set-up as a starting point.
Let me know when I can cruise by so we can talk about running that pump through the Team Cold Beer mill.
BTW , I have a bunch of wedges n shit you can barrow for a weekend if thats your flavor.

head work in progress...didnt need a valve job so we lapped the valves and cleaned everything up really good....and now to paint in a few

I F*CKING HATE THOSE VALVE SPRING COMPRESSORS!!! lol you could have used the c clamp style since the heads were off. I didnt have that option when I took out and put in my inner valve springs lol.

FWIW - I'm not impressed w/ Chickenfoot.   Haven't found a single cut that I would listen to twice.
