Title: $ sale 1975 Saguaro jet boat
Post by: 2savage4you on January 11, 2009, 03:11:35 PM: This will be turn key in about a week or two. I am replacing the floor and cleaning it up. 460 ford, rebuilt Dominator pump and more to come as i remember it ;D

Boat is not going back together. After spending the last 2 days installing a new floor , i started to do my cleanup on gaskets and shit..

Found the intake is cracked in all 4 corners... So i will be parting it out.I got a ford 460 ( i think ) could be a 429. from carb to pan. i will even throw in the motor mounts and log exhaust. $1200
A Dominator pump that was just refreshed, i will have to see what its worth :sly:

I will sell the trailer with boat on it ;D

I will make a for sale thread later :banghead:

Just curious 2sav, where on the intake are the cracks? Are they big enough for photos? I'm only asking because I like learning about the weak points. Thanks man.

this has been broke for awhile now my guess ???
Im really bummed, i wanted to get it back together and get it out of my yard cause i need the room..

I wonder how many people would have just used lots of silicon and stuffed it back together again with a 4 sale sign that says AS IS...

Im not going to screw somebody like that cause thats just FUGGED UP!!!

Send it to someone that can weld it up true it flat and put it back in. THat will even get it out of the yard for a while. Can't be that expensive. JBP or MPD can do it in there sleep. Even a replacement suction piece can't be all that expensive.

Fix the housing, the boat is gone for a while and even if you eventually sell the motor to get money for another project, it leaves you with a much more sellable hull. But this advice is worth exactly what you paid for it :D
