Title: '76 Hallett Bubbledeck
Post by: Nick on August 28, 2012, 01:13:56 PM
1976 Hallett Bubbledeck.
Original Gelcoat still holds an immaculate shine, Full Length 2” stringers that are very solid, Bulkhead and Transom are in excellent condition, Interior and Seats are in great condition.

Dual 11 Gallon Aluminum Tanks with modified ½” fuel pick-ups, Recently re-resin coated stringers and transom, New Gauges, New Steering Wheel & Collar, Billet Detent Forward/Reverse Shifter, Boat has been completely rewired (with the right color wires), New Control Cables (shifter, steering, diverter).

Jet is a Berkeley Split Bowl JG, the intake was recently machined for a shoe, shim and ride plate, the intake was then reset by Chris @ B1 Racing. The pump features an Aluminum B Impeller with a stainless inducer, steel loader, droop snoot and manual Place Diverter. The pump was completely stripped and powder coated white, all pump work was done this year by B1 Racing – it is still very fresh.

Tandem axle RoadRunner trailer that tows great, however it could use a coat of paint. The bunks are fresh and 3 out of the 4 tires are new. I also removed, lowered and re-welded the fenders on the trailer.

Boat is being sold WITHOUT motor.

$6500 obo

Please PM with questions or for additional pictures. Boat is located in La Habra, CA.

It does say obo. The condition of this boat and the amount of work put into the pump are what justified my asking price. Thank you for the compliment.

What!??????? I hope this is just a joke.  You didn't even ask me if you could get permission to sell that thing, fill me in on what the plan is.  I know how you operate and there is going to be something big happening if you're selling this, CP maybe?

For anyone interested, this is the cleanest Hallett Bubble around.  Nick has spent countless hours polishing and waxing every inch of this boat.  The work and $ put into this thing is amazing and it definitely shows, this is a solid hull that rides like a cadillac.

Thanks for the positive comments guys, I appreciate it. This has been a great boat and it's currently set up to run hard with the right power, or it can be a great cruiser. I am looking to move to either a 19 daytona or 19 CP - It's time to pass the Hallett onto the next guy, I'm sure it will make somebody proud, it sure has done so for me during the last 4 years.

Forgot to mention - I would be interested in entertaining offers of selling minus pump. If somebody is interested please PM me, negotiations will not take place in this thread.
