Bought this boat at beginning of summer. This is my first Jet Boat and I really love it. My g/f on the other hand isnt quite a fan. She says its "too loud, too fast, and too bumpy". One thing she is right about is the too bumpy part. I like to go to the river but I also really enjoy going to the lake. Our last trip was out to Lake Mojave and the second day I think I went on 2 runs the whole day. Just not the ideal conditions for this boat. This really turned my g/f off on the boat so here it is up for sale. I am actually also open to trades for a bigger boat. It would be cool to find a bigger Jet boat but I/O is also ok. Let me know what you got and if your interested in buying and maybe we can make a deal. Its got a 460 Ford engine in it and is turn key. I just got a brand new holley 750 double pumper carb. on this bad boy and it goes pretty fast. I am asking $4500 OBO. Here are the pics...

And here is a link to a little video I found while uploading pics from my camera. I didnt even know my g/f took this video. This was our last trip out about 3 weeks ago at Lake Mohave. I am really just cruising in the video not on the gas much at all but you can hear how strong the motor sounds.

Let me know if you have any questions. I hope to get another Jet Boat. This one has really turned me on to them.....I am just a speed demon lol! But would be nice to have something everyone can enjoy and its also always a good thing to keep the woman happy. Please dont try to bust my balls too much...haha!

Engine has about 15 hours on it and the same with the outdrive. Its my father in laws and he wants a jet boat with a open bow I can get pics if interested and i can give you his phone #

It could probably use some upholstery , seats have cracks from being weathered and yes its turn key..

ya no worries. that is a pretty cool little boat. i know what you mean by wanting something bigger though. i love my miniday.
anyway is there anything else about this boat that i need to know. how is the motor looks like it has had better days. but the paint and interior look great. what pump i am guessing a berk from the pics, Is there anything else you can think of. i am trying to get him all the info i can on the boat.

Yeah the engine is kind of dirty. I got it from someone who had it sittin for a couple years and never really touched it. When I got it it had en exhaust leak and needed a new carb. I took it to my friends dad and he used to be a professional crewchief and he helped me with the repairs and said i got a clean good running motor. He went out on a test run with us too.The carb. I got brand new and is a 750 holley.....that thing cost me over $500 and I also replaced the ful lines and stuff. It runs pretty fast....it scared my friends. Now about the pump I am not sure. I have posted up pictures here for people to tell me what kind of jet and alot of people didnt know but 1 or 2 people told me it was a Bay Jet? They werent really sure though. Overall its a very good running boat. Only problem I had with it was a water hose that went to the jet busted when I was out on the water. That was like a $2 fix and I was back out on the water with no problems. I had alot of fun skiing behind it. Let me know if you need to know anything else.

Yeah....I love it too. Its cool right now but if put in the right hands this thing could be a real head turner. Mostly the engine needs some beafing up and some chrome. Its fast to me but after roaming around this web site I know that it could be alot faster after what I have seen. I will end up with another one because like I said before I am a speed demon. I love loud and fast and I want to learn to put an engine together like some I have seen here.
But your friend called me. I work during the week till 5 every day.....he said you guys are going to blythe tomorrow so hes going to try and maybe swing by today to take a peak at it. Thanx again aquaholic!

cool. hey thank you. I hope that boat looks as good in person as it does in the pics. and yes in the right hands it will be sweet. i am 100% sure i will be doing all the maint on this boat if my friend buys it. so dont worry she will be well taken care of. not sure if the ford is going to stay in it though..lol

He came by and didnt even have me start it up for him. I had the hose ready and everything. I cleaned it up real nice...gave the leather a treatment and everything.....it looks real nice. He later sent me a text saying he talked to his pops and it wasnt really what they were looking for. Honestly I think its too small for him. I am a tall guy probly about 6'1" but your buddy is taller then me and bigger. I barely fit in the driver seat so maybe that was the reason. But yeah I heard you guys had a good time and I watched your video. Your boat looks awesome man. I will have one just like it one day. Thanx for trying tho. Ive got a couple people wanting to trade but they are far....looks like I just might be takin a road trip.

ya dave is huge.hahaha. i thought that might be a concern. but he has a little truck so he needs a little boat. i dont think his v6 will pull my boat very well. I will keep spreading the word. but like i said before i will never trade my boat to go fast. i love the extra room in there. i dont care if it barely hits 60mph. that is more than fast enough.

Well I know all Jet Boats are pretty small inside but untill I got mine I didnt realize how small. I really barely fit because of my legs. But him beeing taller and bigger :-\
But yeah.....60 would be good for me too. I dont care if your boat does 80 mph......the conditions have to be perfect to be hittin those kinds of speeds and I dont like beeing limited. If I want to go out I want to go out. The way my boat was slamming down at the Lake it was just pissing me off.

ya it is fun when i am at the lake with the flat bottom guys. after 10am. that is when i start calling them out to race. i will have 6 people 2 coolers and the dogs in my boat and it still does 60 and cuts right thru most any chop out there.
then i am king of the water. and i have the fastest boat out there..lol.. good luck on the hunt. the mini day cruisers are awsome look for one of those.

Hey GoKart not all Jets are that small. Take a peek at mine. I think it is what you are looking for. I traded up from my smaller jet to this one I have now. It is a 21' OPEN Bow. Its the best of both worlds and keeps the women happy. Not as fast as my 18', but as Aquaholic said earlier, I wouldnt trade it for the world! I am 6'3" and have no problem being comfortable in it. It did take a while to find one though with everythig I wanted on it. There is a guy over on RiverDaves that is selling a really clean Carrera open bow for like $8500. PM me if you want his info!

I have a 21' 1976 Hawaiian mini daycruiser with a Berkeley JC-A pump that I am very interested in trading for your Seguaro. The 455 Olds was completely rebuild last season at a cost of $4,000. I have only put about 10 hours on it since. I have wanted an open bow jet for quite some time, and it sounds like you want a bigger jet. It might be a happy marriage for both of us. I sent you 4 pics on CL, so check them out and tell me what you think. My only concern is that I'm 6'1" and about 225lbs. and whether I would have a difficult time fitting the drivers seat. I live in NorCal in the SF Bay Area, but would be willing to drive to SoCal or meet somewhere in between.

From what I remember , SAGUARO's were copies of the Kona (which is what yours looks like , and beisemeyers (which is what mine is) It is breaking my heart having to get rid of mine :'( Oh well , life goes on . Good luck with the sale . Never thought I'd ever see another Saguaro .
