Hey guys, first time using so I apologize if this posting is in the wrong forum. I am selling my 1987 Caliber 1. It's very clean, no stress cracks. It's an exact replica of a Eliminator bubble deck with a delta bottom. I am selling the boat less motor but will include the headers and motor mounts(BBC). Pump is a Berkeley 12JG split bowl w/ A aluminum impeller and loader intake $6800 OBO

Was it sketchy running that blower motor with a delta pad and only a loader?
-
It was a little hard to keep it in the water. It's to much motor for the boat with the current setup. Ran it last weekend in Needles, 93mph. Crazy but fun!

HAHA yeah that's what I was thinking! I have a delta pad myself but no where near the ponies that blower motor is putting out. 93mph on a delta pad? I bet that's a wild ride :o Good luck with the sale.. That's a nice boat

NICE BOAT I love the colors. Good luck with the sale.
The Beav

nice boat why not play with hardware and run it. or you must want to go faster in a better hull as many would say
-
Pulled the motor over the weekend, it's ready to go to a new owner. I bought a new float that should handle the HP a little better.

What speed are you running now with the 640hp motor?

With the first cam that was in it it ran 78 mph but the cam broke and this new can they tried in my opinion sucks and I'm assuming its actually less than the 640ph now cause the fastest I have gotten it up to is 69 mph

Was thinking of replacing it one more time with a full roller cam as big as I can go and throw a 150 shot of nitrous... But I'm thinking its the hull mainly that making it so slow

The hull has a lot to do with it but most important ( in my opinion) is the pump. Have you had any pump work done?

I had it blue printed and balanced back in 2000 it has a place diverter on it with hydraulic ram
