It's alot of cashola MM, guys with 4K boats aren't selling.  :screwy:  Good luck bud she is a sweet looking ride

thanks for the nice words. i know everybodys situation is different. i jus dont think 10k is alot of money, i know the economy is tough for some folks and it sucks. but dont really want to go into that... not costing me anything to keep it and i do love this boat so looks like it will probably stay with me for now..

Saw this boat at the TPR deal and I gotta say, that is by far the CLEANEST all original boat I have ever seen from that time frame.  It looks like it came from a time capsule or something...  Good luck with the sale and nice talking with you yesterday..  RD

thanks riverdad for the nice words, it was nice to have talked with you also.

mr. rebel thanks bro. it was good to see ya again. if you were alittle earlier to the rest. we could have got a bigger table and sat together, next time, also you have some real nice well behaved kids. good job..

brad--- ralphs dog (roxy ) didn t make the trip and for some reason i dont think she would of been near the boat.....or boats..being that she is pretty big i hear.

also the price if this boat has changed to 12k. tired of all the tire kickers. not saying anybody here, just some out there. maybe that will keep them away and i also think its worth that, just my .01 cause i am broke white thrash..

Thanks dude! I refuse to show any such posts to the kids! That way they don't get anything over on me! (They ARE great kids though! I guess I did something right in a former life.)

Roxy might notta been there, but I'll tell you what, Ralph was "Parent of the Year" at this thing!  What a beautiful, fun lil girl too! I think the memories of all the shenannigans going on around her, while she was playing, she wil remember well! (As mine will! They're already committed to going next year!)

Good Job Ralph!

BTW, Your boat is worth MORE that 12K, IMHO. I don't think there's a cleaner original 70's jet boat in existence! Too bad there's not a Barrett-Jackson for boats!  Hmmmmmm   :sly:

your  welcome ray, lori and myself were talking about ralphs cute little girl also in how she was behaved and very polite. him and  his wife are doing a good job also..  thanks again for the nice words about the sled..i thought they had boats at barret-jackson. hmmm your right..i think a  collector would like to have it, if there is such a thing..

as a person that has never had any kids in 42 years and will not have any. i seem to sense the behavior of children real quick, probably due to the fact that unbehaved  and out of control children irratate me. so i always make a point to tell parents that i think their doing a good job...

Well thank you! And I think Ralph will too! His lil one was great! Especially funning with her! (I think Ralph beat me to the punch on everything I tried to tell the kid! She's sharp as a razor knife!)

But, and I mean me, I would HATE to sell that thing to some punk with a trust fund only to have it destroyed!

I dunno if there's any collectors out there, maybe someone on the boards knows of one! (Trust me, I'm only building what crap has snowballed on me, I ain't rich or a collector, even though it seems so sometimes, lol)

Regardless, I've not been in this long, but that is the most beautiful, original thing on the water! (Check the "other" sites on it! Same things being said). It made my mind up on my Green one to try and only restore it, where I can, to attempt to reproduce that.......

oyu know ray, i dont know if i could actually sell it when it came down to it. i think i can then when i have someone semi-seriuos . then i start ?ing my decision..i dont think i will have to cross that bridge. everybody wants to go fast these days. the jetboat crowd isnt much for original and slow. so it is what it is...no worries..

Nah! I really wish I'da brought the "Pickle" this weekend, if only to show you what, until yours, what a rare, original, jet boat looks like after 30 years or so of care, maintenance and slight abuse! Mine ain't CLOSE to yours! Yeah, Mines original, and kinda well cared for, considering it's age, but REALLY pretty? Nope! Might be the closest thing I've seen to compare yours to! Yours is immaculate!

It DID convince me to leave it alone and see if I can get the finish back or restored somehow, however, instead of the extreme I had planned for it!

No matter what you do Dave, you'll have, or have had, one of the sweetest pieces of history anyone has ever seen!

right there with that comment of having a sweet piece of history is why i dont want to sell it... i would like to see your sled. where are the pics at? evrytime i have said i wanted to do something to this boat everybody, meaning all my friends say dont touch it, just go buy something else to mess with..

i have even had my friends which some of them buy and sell boats like i change underwear tell me if they had it they would not sell it. so i ahve basically come to the decision not to sell the boat. but it gets harder and harder to keep taking it out. it drives me crazy to see it get wet and sit in the sun for a day.  iknow it sounds crazy but thats my ocd side of me..i jus think it adds to the boat that i will still use it..ok it is what it is. enough about my sled..thanks again for the comments i dop appreciate them..
