1977 Hondo T Deck Jet
« on: July 13, 2013, 11:34:27 PM »
As some of you know I just recently bought a hondo T deck jet for a boat to get me thru the summer whole my daytona was getting fixed. Well the daytona is almost fixed so I need to sell the hondo.

Here is what the boat has:

Polished hardin marine 4 point BBC motor mounts
1350 drive line ( I used my 1310 and the spacing was damn near perfect)
Full stringers
Good, looks new, interior
Billet shifter
Autometer white face gauges with red bezels
Tight rack and pinion style steering
Jacuzzi pump, no diverter, no wedges
stainless steel round tanks (10 gallons each)
Billlet rex marine fuel caps
Finney plastics wind screen
Automatic bilge pump
Billet aluminum, red anodized water dumps
Billet grab handles

The trailer:

New updated trailer
LED lights
New tires
New serviced wheel bearings ( I just did them.before I went to the river on the 4th)

What the boat needs:

The boat needs a few things from when I bought it.
Fwd/rev cable
Your motor
Plumbing lines

This is a great boat for someone starting or someone who wants a cool looking boat. I did have to buy a few parts special for this boat that I coudnt use from my daytona.
Brand new HEI distributor
Brand new MSD wires
AN fittings for the water lines and fuel lines.
Velocity stack ( for the carb)
I may throw in a brand new holley high flow fuel pump with AN fittings (I have the receipt from a boat shop in blythe on the 3rd of july for $160)

Like I said this boat worked perfectly for what I needed it for. I bought it on a saturday, pulled my motor from my daytona, changed my injection, put the motor in the hondo. I worked on the hondo wednesday before the river, wired it up and fired the boat. When I tell ypu all it needs is a motor, that's all it needs.

Some of these pictures are from the 4th when I had it and some are from when I bought it, they are the pictures from CL
