Title: 1981 Crusader, Bostick motor, Berkely pump
Post by: bwray919 on August 24, 2016, 10:21:52 AM
The jet boat life just wasn't my thing. I'm thinking of going bigger and slower so my baby is for sale.

Hull:
1981 Crusader Jet, Closed bow 4 seater.
18FT
Newer interior, carpet, steering wheel.
Beede Guages, RPM, Fuel, Oil PSI, Temp.
Kicker Sound system with Sub and 4 speakers, sounds great, no head unit just plug in your ipod.
Rail kit for the motor mounts, custom machined.

Power:
Gen IV Chevy 454
Built by Bostick Racing Engines in 2016, 5 river trips and 3 quick lake trips. This thing is barely broken in!
.020 Over Hypereutectic Pistons
Scnieder custom grind hydraulic roller cam
Dual spring valves
Ported/Polished heads with a larger port to match the Tunnel Ram intake.
Weiland Tunnel Ram
2 Holley 650's
All new bottom end/top end
Dooley 10qt oil pan
Brand new MSD distributor
MSD 6a ignition
MSD Blaster 2 coil
MSD wires
Basset water injected headers
Build sheet available.
All AN fittings and good hoses.
Aluminum tigged valve covers.

PUMP:
MPD ride plate, shoe, loader.
Wedge.
Detailed A impeller.
Place diverter (manual)
Fresh powder coating.
Brand new diverter and forward/reverse cable (1 trip)
New steering cable (1 season).

Other:
Custom battery tray with 2 12lb Braille batteries, perko switch etc.
All weather pack electrical.
Joe Gibbs racing oil.

Trailer:
Dual axle
Swing away tongue
Fresh tires (2 river trips)
ALL THE LIGHTS WORK!
2x 13 gallon aluminum tanks.

Asking 12,000 but I'm open to offers as long as they're realistic.

This is a bad ass boat, everything is built out thoughtfully and done right. The previous owner soldered all of the wiring, all of it is contained under the rear seat and very well thought out, no electrical issues here. Everything that is anchored to the floor was done with stainless inserts, not just drilled in with some cheap home depot screws. This boat is bad ass, definitely turns heads on the river. It's pretty quick, does 80 with 2 people and some coolers.

Come check it out, it is turn key and ready to go.

10k, willing to separate motor from hull.

But the whole package is bad ass, took her out to San Vicente on Sunday and it ran great, looked great and pissed off alllllllll the bass guys.
