1978 20' Nordic mini cruiser
BBC/poished Dominator pump, place droop, diverter. Hull has full stringers, a  solid ride, and shiney off white/orange gel.. Interior is not perfect, but decent and very usable.  Nice, solid, matching tandem axel trailer. I have enjoyed this boat because it has the best of both worlds--space for passengers (seats 6 adults), ice chests/stuff, and leg room, but with the performance of an 18' jet boat.

I would still be running it myself, but I had a chance to buy my 20' Sanger v-drive mini cruiser. So, the Nordic needs to go. $6,000

I have been talking to "boost" about a possible trade for his Hondo. Sounds like he's looking for some more room without giving up on performance. Taking it out last Saturday, after having it sit for more than a year, reminded me of why I liked it. Even with the stock 454 and altitude, it still runs pretty fair. And with a few more horses (previous motor), we could run with alot of the 18' jets--probably mid 60s, with a more comfortable ride, and space to haul passengers and "stuff".

i have the same identical boat! and love it1 mine is a '78 wtih a built 454. around 700 H.P. runs around 75 at 6200 rpm's.
if you are interested in his boat, you will not be dissapointed. its definately a river boat not a lake boat though. loves glassy calm water. but mine doesnt have a diverter on it yet, so maybe thats why it doesnt like the chop.

Well, I got back late last night from Pomona. Delivered the Nordic to boost, and his Hondo followed me home. NORDIC454, glad to see your post--looks to me like those hulls were twins, separated at birth. I'm sure boost and his family will enjoy the boat, and I'm glad that you can verify the potential mph. I told Brian that we were running in the mid 60s with about 500HP, but that I thought there was more left in the boat. Judging from the work he did on his Hondo, I would expect him to have it sparkling and running in the high 70s by next season.
