I have been to havasu up river a few times, but not to bullhead. This boat gets lots of looks and is very nice, I am taking a hit on this because of the economy and I need to move a few things.

10K is a lot of money unless you're very rich. The people that are very rich are not going to buy (most likely) a 32 year old jet boat when they can just buy a new one (for a lot more). Most of this country is hurting for cash right now, house value's are way down which is going to leave a lot of people unable to pull equity from their homes. In short, it's not a good time to sell from a monetary standpoint. But river season is coming up quick, if it isn't already here, so you're going to have to be patient.
IMO, I'd never spend 10K on a jet boat that doesn't have a divertor on it and wasn't exactly what I was looking for. Daycruiser's generaly get less cash than sportier models.
Lastly, nobody likes to deal with a dikhead (not saying you're a dikhead) and when you get a reply that rubs you wrong you should think twice about posting up something that may make you look like a dikhead. "Thanks for the bump" works for me irregardless of any perceived negative reply.

ok hot rod, If you have a 56 you probly think it is a classic and you would be right. This boat is a classic and is restored. That isnt cheap. If a dikhead as your self dont want to buy it that is fine. Some like ford some like chevy. I have seen some big pos on this sight that want way to much for way too little, and I mind my own business. However I think that if you like spectras then this one is well worth the price. I also feel you both should feel like diks for even responding like you have. So I guess I have to defend what I have and I will. This boat all so has some playboy hisory that also adds to its value if you like the spectra 20s. So anyone interested in a nice cruiser dont worry about the last 2 a holes. Have a nice day! ;D

Not saying mine is better or worse, just saying it is SIMILAR. My boat was for sale in the Boat Trader mag. and on the streets of Havasu for over a year. The guy wanted 10K down from 12K when I first called him. Called him 2 months later and he took 6K. Boats are worth what someone will give you for it (especially in November >:D

Thank you for the props daytona. This boat has less then 25 hrs on it since restored. It is really nice and if someone wont give me 10k then I will keep it. I am moving and I have too many things. I also have a 64 stepside for sale for 12k. ;D

Every nut and bolt has been replaced. I have come down from 14k only because of gas prices. The engine is mild but runs sweet and the pump has been bluprinted and the new seating which I need to post pics of beats most newer boats. The trailer has even been totaly rebilt, hitch surge breaks and all. If you are selling something like this for 6k then I am intrested. This boat is always covered in a carport. Sometimes I just crank the sound system cause it sounds so good.

no. I was selling mine for 35k and drop it to 25k. And for 25k I told myself that I'll just keep it! So don't be a a$$ hole. I was just saying it was clean.

original and thanks. I have got to say that all the electrical, interior,gages,tank switch,all parts in and on motor, everything is new. So maybe I sould have just started by listing everything with pics of everything and everyone that matters could see. I will post better pics of interior later but Im busy with the move right now. I will also keep it if I cant get 10k, this is bad ass. I hope this is the end of all this. Its just another boat for sale.

I thought my days here were done :-\ . This is the second super clean boat that has bashed .
Nobody seems to realize that the economy has nothing to do with these boats . If you can afford to buy a super clean ride , you have a super clean ride . Plain and simple . Spectras were some of the best made boats and pull there weight . The Spectra20 being dominated with jets is where the view of this boats price is skewed . Do your homework , do your research , make an offer . Is that impossible to understand or just too many steps ???
Chiller , jack it up to 12K and leave it . :mad: . Great ! Now I'm even more pissed !

The green looks pretty cool to me. I see lots of loud paint on the lake. Also that is the original gel coat and the hard core spectra guys like that wood grain photo scheme on the top. Its a upgraded restored boat, and have you seen some of the colors that are on some of the new cars? Burnt orange, chinese beetle green, creme yellow, wtf. I guess to each his own. Thanks for the complement though, it looks better in person I guess.

How do you like the foot throttle? I just got a spectra and its got a hand throttle, Im not used to it so I hate it. But it is really nice for cruising. Very nice boat. Hope mine looks half that good one day!

I have been searching for a Spectra for a year now, This one is CLEAN wish I had the 10k :-[ The thing that throws people off is the green on the trailer (which can be painted) Spectras came in Blue (tons of them) Brown (wouldnt be my first choice) Orange (pretty cool) and Green and Red (kinda rare) Cambell Carl on the boards had a Howard in the same color looks really cool in person. People are selling these things for 5-7k unrestored Chillers is turn-key fill up the tanks and enjoy the day. Like I said wish I had the 10k :banghead:

got plans to change the color of the trailer and add a black accent stripe with the current green, what do you all think that will look like?

I think the boat looks great the way it is. You could always photoshop the black stripe in and see what it looks like before you actually do it. Why do you want to change the color of the trailer? It matches the boat.

As for gas, some retard on the news just said "gas should hit $6 by July 4th, hopefully it will stay around $5 for the year".....someone kick this guy in the nuts

I was looking for a Spectra 20 for about 3 years and saw maybe 2 or 3 that clean and sexy. That's a Great boat. You should be happy with it for many years to come. Its alot cleaner than mine! :banghead: The green on the trailer looks good. Im just kinda sick of the basic black and white. ( Mine is white, but it might be another color soon) But that is just my 2 cents. NICE BOAT!!! Is it going to be in parker this weekend? ;D
