Title: Another g-wing
Post by: River Dad on May 02, 2009, 09:30:01 PM
Anybody have any interest in a turn key 1983 California Performance 19'? Just picked this up and I'm starting to feel like a CP dealer. ;D ;D It's a fairly light weight hull, but not extremely light. The boat is set up as a stock ski boat, even has thru transom logs. There are some scratches and dings, but all in all it's not bad. Has a mild hyd cam, pump gas 454 with a brand new Air Gap manifold and brand new Holley 830 DP, and HEi dist, and 10qt pan. Upolstery is very clean with brand new carpet. Berk split bowl with manual diverter, ride plate and shoe, etc. It even has an hour meter in the dash that shows 223 hours. It sits on a tandem axle Comp trailer with clean chrome 9" fenders and moons.

It would make somebody real happy and this thing is VERY turn key. Has great oil pressure and spins an alum A 5300 with no prob. Looking for 7k cash......... I'll get picks up first thing in the morning. It's a white hull with blues and yellows.

It's in my buddies garage and he won't be home until around noon.  I'll get some up for ya shortly.  It's a fairly nice boat,  there's only one bad spot on the deck where there are some pretty good gel cracks.  It's mostly in the white, so it wouldn't take much to clean up.

It actually cleaned up alot better than I thought it would.  The only bad spot is right between the hockey pucks, but 95% of the gel coat issues that would even be worth addressing are in the white.  The boat is a fairly light lay up and the deck support has cracked the gel right above it.  Easy fix, but personally I wouldn't even bother with it.  The only other noteable gouge is in the white on the pass side sponson as you can see in the picture. The rest of the boat turned out really nice and the interior looks great.  The blue carpet is brand new and the pics don't show the motor after I got done polishing.  It is very turn key and will make somebody happy for a nice ski boat.   I've never been in a quiet CP, it was kinda strange, but it rides great and is ready to run...  never thought about it less motor,  but sure Marc why not.  Call me and we can discuss it.
