Title: Anybody on the hunt for a killer fishing boat?
Post by: GT Jets on March 02, 2016, 08:15:37 PM
So I'm picking up a 20' Sea Ray cuddy with a Mercruiser I/O that is set up for salmon fishing.

I need to turn it around quickly.

I will be swapping out the short block (3.0 four cylinder). And the top end is new.

I need to get as close to $2500 as possible.

Galvanized single able EZ Loader, depth,  remote spotlight.

Let me know even if you are remotely interested. The money is going to a racing fund.

Thanks

Try to get some better pictures tomorrow. I haven't had time to give it a real good once-over yet.

There's a ton of new parts.

The boat is so clean it's  decieving.

Nicer than that Cobalt was.

I do not have the Bimini. Just what I think is what would have been the back canvas and the boot. Don't know why. But it's brand new in the bag.

Bump.

I will have the engine dialed in this weekend.

Turns out the bottom end is perfect.  Whoever did the work didn't bother to check the exhaust shutter and it was gone.

Pressure tested the block, heads,  manifold and did a compression test, leak down and so on.

She's like new. I'll have the new flapper and water pump done Friday,  water test on Saturday.

I'm also going to go through the electrical system a little bit. Seeing some sketchy add-ons that need some help.

Otherwise it's a solid little boat.
