i just went back and looked at it again....somethings a little fishy.

i thought all 19' rogers were bubbles after 74-75....also, it might be just the rub rail and gel design throwing me off, but the back end sure doesnt look like a rogers...

who knows...maybe i will even go take a look at it.  :-\

Something is very wrong in there, either the 19' part, the Rogers part, or (probably) both. Looks like a good deal though.

The trailer was probably made for a 19' boat  :o

"There is a vibration in the driveline, motor or pump?? "

That could be nothing, or it could be a catastrophe. Figuring that out would be the difference between rolling the dice on a money pit or a great deal. It is a clean looking boat.

I've got the same issues about authenticity.  No Rogers 19 has a transom like that. only the old 18 cyclone, discontinued before 78 had a transom sorta like that. also I don't think Roger ever did graphics like that especially in that year.  If that thing has Rogers Custom Boats plates on the cockpit lip I bet ya the pop-rivit fasteners are new.

Exactly what I was thinking Wizard612. I've called him but he hasn't returned my call, yet.

Don't know what it is, but it ain't no Rogers.

Roger never stopped making the flat deck 18, in fact that's the 18 mold he kept when he sold the 18 bubble to Advantage. The flat deck mold, although the same bottom as the 18 bubble, had a better bottom than the bubble. Exact same bottom, for whatever reason it had a slight edge over it's twin...and that always bugged the hell out of Harry Christensen.  ;D

He still hasn't returned my call. I think I'll stop waiting for the call and go to sleeeeeeep.
