I asked him a shit load of question via email, I dont think he is responding to me now.
Things he said:Its a Berkley pump, which was rebuilt about two years ago. It has a diverter that sprays a real large rooster tail.
The boat starts up perfect every time. It was mechanic owned until I bought it about a year and a half ago. It has been maintained well and the engine is in excellent condition.
The paint is original. No gelcoat. It is in good condition considering it is about 30 years old.
The interior could use some work. It isn't destroyed or anything, just kind of faded from the sun.
Overall Id give the boat an 8. Mechanically its a 10.
The engine wasn't rebuilt, just the carburetors were, and I have a receipt for that. I replaced all the spark plugs myself when I bought it. Other than that, the engine was perfect when I got it. The Rewarder headers were put on about a year before I bought the boat.
The boat probably does about 75 or 80 on the water.
The boat was built by dick shuster at Hawaiian boats back in the '70s. It was built with that engine in the boat originally. The engine has maybe 400 hours on it since then. The boat runs on 100 octane. So, it's definitely a high performance engine. The engine alone is worth what were selling it for. Cant use 91 octane, pings real bad and runs bad.
