No, she gets a special cologne... It's called Sex Panther by Odeon. It's illegal in nine countries... Yep, it's made with bits of real panther, so you know it's good. They've done studies, you know. 60% of the time, it works every time.

I'm not posting this because I think it is a good deal. Check out the jet? What am I looking at? I have seen many early jets where just the nozzle is outside the boat and the motor is pretty far forward. The engine looks pretty close to the transom. I'm puzzled. His engine story sounds fun too

This pump setup is similar to what I had in my '67 Stevens flatbottom jet. What you're looking at is basically a split bowl that butts up to the inside of a transom plate, with the nozzle bolting on to the OUTSIDE of that plate. That has GOT to be a hairy ride as a true flatbottom jet likes to unload the pump the more you air it out. With a droop you better have a rev limiter......
Oh, and that rectangular plate at the top? It was for the tiller arm that connected to the steering cable INSIDE :o

Hallett Mini Cruiser - $3500 (Orange County) 714-267-8061
http://orangecounty.craigslist.org/boa/4967142322.html

Solid boat with great features. I've owned the boat for 8 years and purchased it from the original owner. Interior is good, exterior faded but solid. The kids like the non-skid metal flake because they don't slip off. Great features: deck with no bow rail or other appendages to catch your toe or bathing suit on. Bimini top with matching stripes. Lights are flush mount under the deck with a Perko flush mount at the back. Boat has the original full swim step and I added a hydraulic Place Diverter and their Low Profile System kit that eliminates the big loop of the fwd/reverse cable. Has rack and pinion steering with newer heavy duty stainless cable. Interior is unique to Hallett boats, has the capability to sit three in the front and six in the back if you don't mind getting cozy. The dash has never been cut (to install a radio or glove box).
Engine is a 460 Ford and it has a new MSD ignition, Holley carb and performer intake, and Dooley large capacity pan. Engine is otherwise stock. Berkley pump. Boat has full length stringers and a generous ski locker in the floor.
Trailer is good with 4 new tires replaced at the beginning of the season last year.
Engine has an oil leak (rear main?) and it coughs and sputters on start-up at times, but otherwise runs great.
We bought a larger boat and that is the reason it is for sale.
