Fantasy's finds - some good some not  ;)


the guy was asking 20000.00 a few months ago. lowered price, prob need to lower more but nice  :thumbup:

that boat is nice, and you can tell just from the few pix he posted on CL that its put together well... but an old mold jet boat for that much???  theres some of those new mold CP gullwings selling for that much, and its not a 30 year old boat...

people think if they put a lot of money into a old jet boat it is worth a lot of money the fact is you will never get all your money back and you have to no that going into it that boat is only worth any where from 5500 to 6500 at most

That boat has been for sale since early summer last year... I think he might have done some more motor work though. A few months ago I'm pretty sure it was only a 454.
But the 6500 at most I'd have to disagree with. Yeah it's an old 18' Southwind but still a really nice boat, I've seen a few last year sell in the $8k range. And prices have just gotten higher this year... Doesn't mean they will sell at that, but yeah.
