What do you think the value of my 1972 Tahiti Tiger is? She is far from a show queen, but is extremely reliable. I am just not sure if want to sell it or hold on to it.
So the Details
2 year old upholstery
1 year old carpet
3 year old rebuilt 455 Olds, with Melodine 10 qt pan, Mondello oil restrictors, oil pump, lifters, and jet boat cam.
Edlebrock Torquer intake, with a 600 cfm Edlebrock carb
Holley Red fuel pump
GM 1 wire alternator
MSD 6AL w/5k rev chip, Pertronics Ignitor, MSD wires.
Saddle Tanks freshly cleaned, bow tank has been removed, but I still have it making a total of 50 gallon capacity
Water logs, but will throw in a used set of TT Rewarders
New (used tires) on trailer, new bearings, and seals, LED lighting

The market suks, gas prices suk, and I woke up in a grumpy mood. >:( I'd say about $2,800. Looks like San Antonio in the background. :P

??? I posted that up in the Craigslist Spam section last night. Looks like a good deal. But I'm confused, what's this boat with a blown up BBC and a Dominator pump have to do with this Tahiti? Seems like the two boats are the exact opposite of each other. I'm still grumpy. >:(

hope you feel better, and yes that is San Antonio in the back ground. :D If it makes any difference, Oldriggers dad rigged it. :D

It's got a lot of the right mods and shoulda woulda coulda been worth $4,500. :banghead:

4K is to high for this boat. I have looked at alot of nicer BBC/BBF boats on the $4500 range that would have taken 4k. (Pioneer's,Sanger's Miller's etc.) I think Rod if right on at $2800ish and probably take $2500 offer.

I baught my Challenger for $1500, sold it for $3240. I baught my Whitchcraft for $4000, sold it for $5000. Both were peices of shit, IMO. So, this stuff sells, jus keep gettin it wet and dont act axious to sell. I turned down $4900 on the Whitchcraft and they dug a little deeper in the old pockets and baught themselves a boat.

Seems fair... I bought a 19' Nordic for $3K in worse shape... then did a bunch of upgrades and sold it for $7K :screwy:

for 2k i would keep it, the economy will get better. i would burn mine to the ground before i sold it for 2k

Nothing is selling right now, the economy blows, gas is out of control, I would just hang on to it for a bit and maybe use it a couple of times with a sign on it, maybe someone will get the "bug".
Been trying to sell a nice race trailer for two months now, everybody wants to give $1500-$2000 less than asking :screwy:
Nice little ride though ;D
