Time to sell this thing less motor. I got a larger run about boat. Fear not I will be looking for a pickle in a year or so.
For Sale Less Engine
1977 18’ Nordic Bubble Deck Jet Boat:
Full stringer boat. Original Gel Coat. Excellent interior. New wire harness with Marine color coded wiring. Autometer Gauges. Wiring needs nothing. Set up for Big Block Chevy. Includes 4 point mount and feet included with polished stringer plates. Good steering cable and helm. (2) 11 gallon aluminum fuel tanks with larger pickups as well as large fuel water separator with some braided hose plumbing. Pickups will support over 800HP. H-Bar drive shaft with new u-joints and PTO also included. Aluminum battery box and hold downs also included. Bassett Headers with stainless water lines and fittings included. Ran GPS 75 MPH with 454 Chevy (naturally aspirated). Ran 85+ MPH with EFI Blown Big Block Chevy.
Pump:
Rebuilt Berkeley JG pump (split bowl) with new stainless “A” impeller and Ultimate Wear Ring with greaseable bowl bushing insert. Also has a new “Jet Boat Performance” Loader with thru bolting set at zero keel (Tom Papp Racing design) and adjustable ride plate. Manual Place Diverter. The pump needs nothing.
Trailer:
Single axle trailer. New wheel bearings (2010). New galvanized rims and trailer tires (less than 1500 miles).New LED lights and wiring. New shackle bolts and custom shackle bushings and mounts. Floater bar and winch system (works great). Bunks and bunk carpet in excellent condition. This trailer needs nothing it tows true and straight. Set up for 2” ball and 4-flat plug in trailer harness.
Basically all this boat really needs is a Big Block Chevy Engine, cooling system plumbing for the headers and the engine and it would be a turn key boat. This hull has no leaks at all; the bilge stays dry except the normal header drainage. The reason I am selling this is that I need a bigger all around boat. I am saving the blown big block EFI engine for a future tunnel/pickle hull project.
