What is a pantera GT jet?

And why is the truck behind him so far out in the water?

Thats Hemminway on Lake Mead, I went there when i first got the boat. Sat on the ramp and watched three people chew up props, thats how low the water is. Lifted trucks can park at the dock. I dont EVEN try to launch there

thats just how shallow it is there, I had to back in up to my doors just to get it wet enough to start/ move boat over on the trailer

I think thw water is just that shallow, the tires are still on the ground I think.

Please verify my response but from what I remember , Pantera is the same bottom as the boat you and Ralph have .

G - refering to the deck thats on yours having a slight bubble to it . Versus Ralphs that does not .
T - refering to the notch of the dash . Which (from my understanding) came about as a way to not have the drivers legs and feet trapped under the dash in case of a roll over .

You could be right.  I have had no luck verfiying what my hull "model" would have been called.

I have searched the internet looking for information on Hondo, Hondo GT, Pantera GT, Irv Brendel and anything else I can think of trying to come up with information on what I have and how many were built.

So far the couple that I have found have been v-drive and not jets.

If this design hull/deck is as hard to find as I'm beginning to believe, $4800 is a good deal for that boat if its not beat to sh*t.

thats what i was told by jerry from v-drive video, and it looks like this one is a t deck like mine because i cant see the bubble that goes all the way across the bow. ive been wrong before :-\

little more info... Not sure exactly how accurate, all is heresy.

Pantera was once John Haskell boats (Haskell boats). From what I understand Haskell's son took over and started driving the company under... Haskell owed Panther Jets some money so Panther bought them out minus what Haskell owed them, thus Pantera boats...
