A lot depends on the location of where you are selling it.
-
I tried like hell to get in touch with you about 6 months ago to buy this boat! I'd say it's worth 3500 to 6000, just depends on how bad someone wants it and how willing you are to negotiate on the price. Trady you an 84 Tahiti for it ;)
-
Im taking it to havasu next weekend, then after that its probably going up for sale.
I need an open bow something or other with a nice quiet engine.
anyone interested, drop me a PM and ill make sure to get back to you.
PS im located in chatsworth. san fernendo valley off of topanga canyon and the 118

You aren't gonna like the answer.

im not sensitive.. hit me.

3-6 thousand is a safe bet I would think. It is a nice boat but it is nothing unique or particularly "eye-catching". I guess it depends on if the right person sees it and/or you are willing to take less $ to move it than what you think it is worth. My buddy just bought one that was posted here last week for $3K. It was pretty comparable to yours. More eye catching color but possibly more "weathered" than yours.
Summer is just around the corner BUT times are tough right now. Not a lot of peeps spending money on things that require gasoline. Good luck with the sale.

I can remember my shoes melting to the asphalt playground at school in Granada Hills. Ya it was that hot back then too! ;D

-
I'm probably wrong :banghead: but I think you were selling it for like 4500 or 5500... that is definately worth it. Economy suks. marketing?
-
yeah had it for 4500 hoping i could make a buck last time. this time, im willing to take a little loss.
-
I sold my '76 Whitchcraft for 5g's a year ago. Baught it for 4'gs, had to go thru carbs and steering.
-
Red and Yellow on a boat make it about $1500 easier to sell. ;)

No shit? I HATED that boat, called it the clown boat or circus boat.......
-
But it sold . . . right? I imagine it turned more silly, empty, blonde heads at the river too (apologies to any blondes that I may have left out).
-
SOLD!!! :banghead:
now i have to go get another boat before next sunday. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:
-
I rest my case. ;D I bet the buyer loves those colors huh?
-
He was in such a hurry to get to the river tonight, i dont think he even cared.
He drove two hours to get to me, looked at the boat for 20 minutes, bought it no questions asked.
Hell i hadnt even cleaned it after the havasu trip last weekend.
I just put it on craigslist last night!!!
Even let me keep most of my stereo. O0
