Looking for Jet preferably with 454 and wet stacks.
« on: February 19, 2010, 08:49:44 AM »
I realize there is a WANTED or a WTB section but it is littered with parts and not actual boats.

I would like to find a 18 foot or so Jet with a Berkley, Chevy 454, Wet Stacks and turn key.

Not firm on boat type so let me know what you have.

Cash in hand and ready to buy.

Live in Bakersfield, CA but will travel for the right boat!

Send pics, location and price to boats at infamousemail dot com, PM me here or reply and I will get back to you ASAP!

By wet stacks I'm assuming you want a low profile boat with headers?   If you're looking for more of a cruiser type I have a another Placecraft 20.5 closed deck with a 454 and Berk split bowl, droop, ridepalte/shoe, etc.   has a hyd diverter and sits on a super clean Ellis fat chrome fender trailer.   I'll post some pics ASAP but it will be in that range.      RD

Looking forward to the pictures.

Basically just looking for something to have some fun with.  My son and I want something to tinker with and maybe get in to a little trouble.

The only bad thing around here is noise we can get away with stack overs here but we have to put mufflers on or get a ticket.

We are ready to buy so if you guys know of anything out there please let me know.

I can travel anytime for the right boat.  The suburban is full of gas and ready to latch on to some fun!

Tekati, let me know if you think this might work out.  If you have a motor and you are looking for a cool project,  I'll let it go for $4000 less motor.  Complete with pump, droop, hyd diverter, etc.    It has stainless tips but you might be able to fit headers over the transom.  I think the trailer is probably one of the nicest I've seen,  the Ellis is pretty bad ass.

Don't bother Bob, he is busy wiping the waterspots off the kitchen counters and waxing the cabinetry.

He's still playing with his kitchen.
I sent him shocks for his cabinet doors.
Now he just stands there opening and closing the doors to watch them slowly settle to the cabinet face.
We already had shocks on the drawers, now it all matches.

Here is the boat for you.  A buddy is selling it and i can't believe he is letting it go.  the 454 in it was just rebuilt last season, and I don't mean the begining, more towards the end.  i would be surprised if it has more than 10 runs on it since the rebuild.  Best boat for the money.  Good luck and hope this helps.

Oh, and i forgot to put it, but he used to have black headers on the boat that went thru-transom..  It may be something closer to what you are looking for other than the OTT headers that are on it.  I am sure that he would throw them in also since he won't need them anymore.
