My pop was mainly curious if he could sell his southwind, it is a 19' low profile jet with a badass small block Chevy, with all the good stuff; Cloyes gear-drive, MSD, Hand built powdercoated rails, forged slugs, four bolt block, steel crank, this list goes on...

The pump is a Berkely 12JG, snoot, "B" impeller, ride plate rebuilt and has not had water through it yet.

The hull is perfect, has new root beer brown w/cream band paint and shines like a new boat.

The interior is also new (comepletely) new seat frames ,all resined and reinforced, new vinyl in cream and orange. (Kinda loud).

The trailer is a single axle that has been pianted the same cream color and has been "bedlinered" looks cool.

We're going to try and finish it up in the next couple of weeks, still have some control crap to do and start and break in the motor (never been fired)

My dad is somewhat of a perfectionist and his machine shop built the motor, he built the interior and our friends did all of the paint work, they have done some "Bitchen" hot boats..

I will get some decsent pictures of it this week, all the pictures we have right now are in its early stages and have a bunch of sweaty guys working on it ;D

BTW open to offers and may consider selling without the engine.

PM me if interested, The economy blows so may not sell if we can't get anything for it.

Guys. I apologize, been lagging pretty hard, I am getting some pics of this badboy today and will post tonight, I have been considering keeping the SBC for the '57 Chevy my dad built (absolutely beautiful car BTW), the boat is as close to turn key as you can get....

Stay tuned....

OK fellas, here she is..We would like to see $3500 less engine  (small Chevy) $5500 with engine and complete boat (running  :screwy: )

19' Southwind 1976, Berkeley pump w/ride plate and droop, fresh and never run....New gauges, all new interior including the frames, trailer painted in bedliner coating and sparayed, hull paint fresh, new Dizzy, new wiring, plus much much more....

The OT's were shortened and I have not finished them yet (considering putting my headers on it)...

Let me know if there are any questions...

Are these mid to late '70's southwind '19's a full stringer boat?  Why don't you see more small blocks in jet boats?  It seems that with the big power a small block can make these days and the better power/weight ratio would make them a little more common... Plus they're higher reving... for a 1:1 drive it seems like you would see more of them around.  Anyway yeah, is the Southwind a full stringer boat?

Cool thanks.  Just wondering cause they look a lot like the Tahiti's which are not full stringers, and...  I stumbled upon this one on CL that looks like a BAD ASSS boat...

3500 for that is a good deal. Not too many of the v-bottoms were layed up with full stringers. Mine had 1/4 stringers. Btw. The v-bottoms are 18 foots. The tunnels are the 19's
