Post by: wizard612 on June 25, 2008, 01:55:43 PM: Diverters on a peddle work just like plates on a flattie. Work great for circle racing, set up the boat with a push on the down nozzle sets the boat and you ease off of it as you reach the apex. Also works well to help lower the boat in nasty chop. But using a diverter this way is backward to the way guys use them at the river to blow rootertails across the lake (never could understand that logic). Yes they are set up with return springs.

Post by: Oldsquirt on June 27, 2008, 06:24:00 PM: Based on the hull ID number starting with "CXC" it is either A) not an Eliminator, or B) an Eliminator with falsified paperwork. It certainly looks like an Eliminator Sprint. I know, I've got the same hull. BTW, this is already being discussed on Powerboats forums.
