Title: 4 seat dune buggy
Post by: River Dad on March 09, 2010, 10:12:50 AM
I'm cleaning out the garage, making room for more boats.  Sand Supply 4 seat dune buggy. Powder coated blue with lots of polished and chrome. 215 Cubic inch all aluminum V-8, custom headers, Holley carb, Edelbrock manifold, polished valve covers, etc. Rancho built close ratio 4 speed 3 rib bus tranny with 3x3 trailing arms and Jamar disc brakes and cutting brakes. Fox shocks with reservoirs all around. Ron Davis radiator with overflow and cooling fans. Widened beam front end with Fox shocks and heavy duty spindles. Rack steering with quick release steering wheel, PRP suspension seats and 5 point harnesses. Jamar shifter with reverse lock-out and e-brake. Laser star lights (4) with brake and tail lights. Car comes complete with desert explorer tires and Sand Unlimited paddles on aluminum rims, and a custom fitted cover.

Dimensions: With dirt tires the rear is 77" wide at the widest part, exactly 13'11" from the rear of the frame to the forward edge of the front tire.

This is a very clean turn key car that is very reliable and has the great sound of a v-8 with the light weight of an aluminum motor. Car is registered, pink in hand and ready for the desert! $10,500

Sorry- no trades.

Good eye, that is Willow Valley.   We're on Laurel off Evergreen.  We have a bare lot on Kingsly 6 spaces from the marina gate.  One day we hope to build on it, but I think I'd have to sell more than this buggy to make that happen!!    Can't wait till summer......

My grand parents lived on evergreen up until my grandpa passed a few years ago. There house was the big 2 story about half way down on the left.  My parents had a place off of mockingbird my whole time growing up. then they bought another place on meadowlark, 2 houses north of well street. all my dads buddys had houses throughout willow as well. Hence the screenname, WillowOG.  Once the time comes thats where ill be buying my river house. for now im either camping on circle beach, at the avi or at my buddys place in golden shores...

I absolutly love that stretch of the river and up until last year I thought it was the only stretch id ever run.  untill I discovered walters camp... We ran memorial day there lets just say we floated for 4 hours and saw 3 other boats....
