Title: F250 4x4 7.3 6spd
Post by: nolimitdieselandfab on August 25, 2015, 07:15:34 PM
Here we go f olks. f250 f350 dually.. th e st ory I bought this truck a month or so ago due to my other truck being down for a warranty issue. Well to say the least ever thing got fixed faster then expected so no longer this truck. 1999 ford f250 4x4 7.3 zf6spd. I'm a diesel tech so I went thru the whole engine since I was gonna drive it. I changed all the injector cups and o - rings on the injectors and high pressure. Also put on new coolent reservoir since the one that was on it was cracked. Had the headliner redone it was sagging. Had the tire balanced. Oil change, serviced the trans, fresh coolent,
Truck runs well its unmolested which I liked about it. Call or text me for any other info 66one 78nine 733nine

Price?

I have the 6speed in mine as well and get lots of surprised looks when other diesel owners hear my shift... Been offered lots of money for it just because it had the 6speed...

I'd like to see 8k out of it. Which people say is too much for a 7.3 6spd.... I kind of laugh

Yeah that's not unfair at all. Seeing that those wheels and suspension are probably worth 3k to most. That leaves an indestructible 7.3 for 5k? Does is smell like dead pig? Hahaha

Again, awesome ride bro, I've already shown a few waiting on responses.

6 months ago I was offered $15k cash.... Thought he was joking until he showed me the cash...too bad I love my truck to much.

$8k is a fair price with what I've seen on the internet and locally

The only reason I can think of as to why you have this is because the mileage... Most people see that and go " whoa that's a lot of miles" not knowing these 7.3's can go double that when taken care of....

I will let some of my diesel buddies know about this truck... If they seem interested I will give them your contact info.

Yeah I'm sure people do say that. But like you said if taken care it will go forever... buddy of mine has 567k on his 7.3 service truck

The key words there is "if taken care of" and you even said you have only owned it for a month. Don't get my wrong 7.3 are great, 3 in the family looking for a forth. But with 330k there's huge chance somewhere in its life it's been abused. I would say that's why you still have it, be patient the person will come along.
