Title: Parting out '85 GMC Suburban
Post by: crewchief22 on July 23, 2013, 08:16:46 PM
I picked up this fine piece of machinery as a donor to help build the '71 Chevy C10 for my daughter.
I'm taking the engine, trans, radiator, steering gear, column and maybe a few other odds and ends.

I have the pink for it but its two years out without a non-op, so I'm planning on scrapping the rest very soon.
Taking offers of cash or parts for the build.

I've had a couple people message me asking about the doors and upholstery...

It does have power doors, the four doors appear straight but the rear door has a couple dents.  I have not tried the windows or locks yet.

The upholstery is mostly toast.  It does have front buckets with a console (storage box) that could be recovered and used.  The back seat looks ok,  The dash pad is junk as is the headliner.

It has front and rear a/c.  I don't remember the condition of the control panel.  I can get a look at it tomorrow.

How about the booster is it vac or hydro boost? If vac will you measure the bolt pattern of the booster without the mounting bracket to the cab(4bolt side) and the diameter? I'm having a problem on my fj40 and want to try a different booster if it'll work.
Thanks
