The funny thing is this thread is about the lake I go to and I have drove my truck in the bottom of it.  Sorry your "good luck " didn't sound so positive.  The river is a 12 hour tow for me .. and I have done it . So it's not how far ... it's the people and the water .

No disrespect bud .. the "Good luck " just didn't sound very positive.  Have you been to any of the lakes you suggested?  This year or last year ? My pile has been out once in 3 years and it was a crowded Silverwood with a bend over and cough type of inspection.

Didn't mean to hurt your feelings with the Good Luck.  We are in a drought.  Your gonna have a tough time finding water but Your welcome for 3 suggestions I gave which by the way don't have leaches or other members pretty much saying they suck.  No kids throwing rocks at your ride either.  Cant say no Bidwiper though as its bottled here in town.  Stella is my brand but I drink Bud lights when I'm camping.   

Better yet if offended you You can keep your boat in the mud down there as u sip your Pumpkin Peach Ale and cuss out Jetfever from NorCal cause that F^cker told you Good Luck.
