Im from Hanford. Just bought my 79 Eliminator this winter. Have been to Kaweah quite a few times this year. The lake is low but it has plenty of water to cruise.

Looks like all of the lake are on the rise here in the valley. Has anyone been out yet? I'm hoping next week or weekend once these coming storms pass.

Lake Kaweah is the closest one for me and it's been on the rise for the past 4 weeks. I drove up there last week and it's already as full or higher than all of last year. Looking like a better years or us.

Not sure about Nacemento. Pine Flat Reservoir is closest to me (bout 40 miles) and it's 35% now. Marina owner says in 2/3 months expects it will be 80 to 90% full. It a good lake for all activities. Really, don't come tho, more room for me,hehehe, hehehe. Just kidd'n,just kidd'n.

Nice. I'm only about 45 minutes from pine flat. I've been there a couple times before but not with my boat yet. I Might have to get up there this year.

Let's all get together at Pine Flat in a couple of weeks. What say?
Title: Re: Looking for People in the Central Valley

WTH.... Gentlemen! Pine Flat is 45% full, great dry camping area,no tell motel for 'but 75bucks a night, Lil restaurant there. Complete rv hook ups if needed.

The marina has everything you need w/ outstanding "nightlife". Ice cold beer at reasonable price. 91 octane is about $3.00 @ gallon. Slips are full w/ 200 docked houseboats, interesting "dock lizards" all the time.

The launch ramps and parking are $3.00 daily if you're not camping.Golden age pass is free for us older folks.

The lake is about 20 miles long with lots of spots for day camps. Fishing is always good! Plenty of
spotted and small mouth bass. Trout and cats too!

East on Hw. 180 to Avacado Lake turn off and follow the signs. Can't miss it. Roads are good, kind of windy but good. Let me know (pm), l'll meet you there. See u there!!!

Just found and joined the website.  Not new to jets/boats just fairly new to the area and site.  Have a 77 Tahiti Boss Cruiser and am about to rebuild the stock 460 in it.  Pump is  Jacuzzi and has some minor mods including a diverter and nozzle.  Haling from the Tulare, CA area here.

Man alive.... this post goes back a long way.... the Central Valley is a huge place.
We live in Clovis California. I'd be willing to travel from say Modesto Area to Bakersfield area for a meet and greet. Say a breakfast lunch or dinner meet. Or a parking lot meeting. Anybody up for that?

My boat is down for the season.  Complete refresh engine paint and interior.   So for now we are just on the skis but are on the kings river almost every weekend.  Live in kingsburg and always down to meet up on the water.
