Pine Flat
« on: August 09, 2008, 01:18:08 PM »
I was thinking of driving up to Pine Flat tomarrow. Does any body no what the water is like, Lake Kaweah is only 2 miles away but it is a mud hole as it always is, maybe a whole mile of usable water. and about 30 wake boarders, 10 house boats parked in the way, and 25 - 30  punks trying to weave in and out of everything or in a stupid little circle.

I'm going to have to invest in an air boad. Looks like fun flying across all that mud. Thanks for the heads up. With all the water droping have you been by River Land lately? I seen thay had a little fire. Us jet boat guys could have saved the day, back up and jack the diverter up, Hell We could of been Fire Boat Captains..

The only place my boat has been is in the garage  :-\ .   Hopefully soon it will be on the water, if theres any water left.  http://www.socaljetboats.com/index.php?topic=3365.0

Pine Flat is probobly not as bad as the pics make it look , I think he said the trees were up by Trimmer.  So, if you stick to the main part of the lake you should be fine  ;) .

BTW, I dont think I ever said welcome to the circus  ;D .  Its good to see another central valley boater here, theres a few of us sneeking around here  ;D

I went for a ride Sunday just to see what the lake looked like and was supprised to see there was no lake  :o :o

This is a shot of Trimmer marina (just to the side of his roost)  early this year from Ironmans boat.

 A shot from Sunday  >:( >:(

There is still some water in the main body of the lake but there are trees sticking up everywhere  :screwy: .

I was up there about 3 weeks ago and it was at 14%.  I bet it is below 10% by now.  The ol lady's family has a trailer and party barge there.  I wonder if there are going to be a shit load of debris in the spring when the water comes back up?

Maybe I shouldn't put a loader on the Kona, if there is going to be a bunch of shit floating around at the beginning of next season  ??? ???
