Always wondered what those lakes are like. Does either one do mussel inspections? If so, how strict? How is the wind? Are they full? How are the launch ramps? Any docks or slips? Thanks Sent from my iPhone using SoCal Jet Boats
Both small lakes but still fun. I have never seen any type of inspection on either lake not even for noise. Both lakes are full currently. Kawiah sits in more of a canyon so it does get windy there must not much wind at all at success. Kinda how I got moved to Porterville when I was young. We used to come up here a lot to success from Orange county because it was about a 3 hour drive and used to have a KOA camp ground close to the lake...would not stay there anymore it's pretty ruff now and it's no longer a KOA. But the army corps of engineers has done a good job with the RV sites actually at lake Success.Oh and success has good ramps it has three total at high water and one on each side of the lake during low season. I think kawiah just has one but it's a nice wide ramp 1977 Challenger
I'll have to check them out. I have an outdrive now that never completely drys out and fails inspections down here at Castaic and Pyramid. They are very strict. Sent from my iPhone using SoCal Jet Boats mobile app
Success is not bad. I got hasstled at kaweah last year on the waverunners. They ignored my wife in the boat but stopped me and even had me remove my life jacket to check for a uscg stamp of approval. That was a first. Not enough to scare me away though. Still prefer pine flatSent from my SM-G930V using SoCal Jet Boats mobile app
That's pretty good. Looks nice and full. I like the boat slips. Probably be busy this weekend. Your right on the music, it was putting me to sleep:)Sent from my iPhone using SoCal Jet Boats
Hopefully I'll have my boat done soon
