Yes, they are very cool looking, looking at it head on sitting on the tunnel ram the girls said it looks like ET, I dont totally agree but it was funny.

crewchief, thats funny you said something, I thought about it and wondered what/who you worked with that could possibly understand that. I pictured just what you were saying and it made perfect sense but without it so clear in my mind, I would have said WTF you talkin-bout"

I worked heavy line for Ford for more years than I want to remember, I think I am pretty much spoiled now, all these shiny new parts are way to much fun to work with.
On the linkage, I turned the actuator down, made a longer rod, moved the heim joint on the scoop as close to the center as it would go, re-located the ruturn springs and "WALA" (it only opens to about 90 percent) but that should be plenty, those holes are huge

Here is what it looks like now

If you eyeball the angle to the front carb to the bottom hole you can see where it would be slightly overextended. I could make a pivot arm or something, but I'll check this out for a while, then decide.
