I already have a blower manifold, I think it would work better with my CJ sized ports....I have a Performer right now, and just don't want to spend money on buying a $330 Victor just so I can replace it a little farther down the road

I want to keep the manifold for future plans  I have almost everything ready for the blower set up, just want to run N/A for right now

lotta work to make an adapter.....

If it's work, then I don't want one. I was just seeing if anyone knows if there is such an adapter available as cast?

How about a blower case with no guts    Not sure how well the blower manifold would work as a stand alone manifold, how long are the runners?

That's a good idea, but I would hate to have a "hollywood" blower on there lol. I would just run the blower, but I need a snout still, idler bracket and pulley, and belt. The problem is the Ford sized snouts are decently expensive, and pretty hard to find used. If no one makes an adapter, I'm contemplating just making one, the problem is I don't have a tig welder available to me at this time. I know I've seen adapters done before, maybe I'll go look around some more.

The runners are decently long on the manifold, I would say a good 5 or 6 inches. But they are the size of a tennis ball, which I know this manifold would probably hurt the motor more than help with the sized runners that is has, but sometimes I would sacrafice a little performance if it looks good and clean

I think I'll end up makinf an adapter, probably only cost me $100 in materials. Just need access to a welder and I'm golden

Call me clueless but what is a "Ford sized snout". Do you mean the length of the snout to match the alignment of the crank. Get a spacer(s) from Kuhl and put a normal length snout on there.

Yea, the Ford takes the longer snout, they're like 450 bones new I am just going to buy a whole drive kit I think, everything new. I already have the blower, manifold, adapter, linkage, and carbs, just need the drive.

Thanks for the link. I think I'm just going to end up buying some aluminum down here and cut it and mock it up, maybe see how much people charge to have it tig'd up. If it's too much I rather send it to you, since you know what you're looking at lol. Or maybe I should just make a whole intake manifold

  I do not see why you would need to do any welding. Make the plate so you can bolt the carbs right to the plate. Use .500 plate and drill and tap it for 5/16 holes for the carbs(you can even use 1" carb spacers to bring the carbs up a little). Use the original carb to blower case adapter as your template.  I have seen one a while ago and it seemed to work.

Oh, I smell what you're cookin TJ. That's a good idea. I wanted to make it raise up kinda to make it a little taller, like 5 inches or something, but that would require welding. You're idea sounds much more simple and practical. I think that's what I'm going to do. I wonder if there would be any performance gain? I already have a billion cc's of plenum volume. I guess the best way is just to try it and find out.

Terry. Yea that's about the price I got a quote on. Unfortunatly the summer is half over, and I'm dumping money into my quad. Hopefully this winter I can get the kit
