So I just got a 10 quart pan for my motor and the drain plug is on the opposite side it's on the left side now instead of the right, away from the water drain out of the jet so how do you go about draining the oil? Do you run a hose from the pan and through the transom? Or another hole on the left of the jet housing? any advice would be great

They should all have a drain kit installed. Oil never hits my bilges.

What kind of kit

I use the Jabsco kit.

Also, pick up some cheap wire shower curtain rings to hold the end of the hose up out of the bilge.

I have the same problem. Thanks GT.
