Title: 1976 Mr Eds w/460 and Berkeley waterpump

Ok question is I just bought boat in January and noticing that I have a waterpump with pulley cut off. Should I have this?  With pulley cut off how does water flow. Unfortunately this is only pic I have at the moment.

IMHO I would replace the pump...... That MIGHT work as is, but sure doubt it.

Replace it with what. Another pump or a block off plate?
