Title: 4 point mount question
Post by: el mojado on June 09, 2014, 12:19:47 AM
I have a Glenwood 4 point mount set up that I want to use. The boat previously had a 3 point set up. My issue is that I cant install the lower bolts for the feet into the stringer because of my floor. Will I be okay with just one bolt going through the stringers at each corner?

no.  the weight and tq of the motor will make the mount eventually dig into your stringer and elongate your bolt hole.  2 bolts and use a backing plate or a stringer washer.  cut a little notch in your floor so u can fit a wrench to hold a nut.

The floor is way up that I can only fit the top bolts.
