Title: 427 tall deck info please

I have a 427 tall deck 4 bolt main engine. It’s all complete and needs rebuilt. I’m looking for around 425 to 450 horse. Who has experience with these tall decks and installing them in a jet boat.

I run a 427 in my scorpion that I am taking out to build new 598own gas could make u a deal on it runs strong dyno around 580

Mine is the tall deck from a truck. Can it be built on a budget.

Mucky, New here but located in vegas would like to get my 454 Motor upon running to drop in a Sleek craft tunnel hull. Don’t need huge power just a bit more than Avg. know anyone Local or have suggestions on parts sizes etc to build a reliable stronger motor? Thank s Jeff
