Bought my boat month ago, gs marine tuned up n went thru it, it was sitting for 2 years, so I drained what gas I could, there was less than 1/4 tank in both tanks, filled up new 91 went to puddingstone last Monday it ran great no issues at all, get to Parker today and it won't stay running, acts like not getting fuel, gs just completely rebuilt carb, single pumper dual feed... Help!! At foxs if any mechanics out here! Pm me! So we do a few tests, we take off the hose on bottom of fuel pump,(mechanical) and to my understanding, the hose should b lower than the tanks, so should pour gas out right? No has comes out, just tiny bit..

So we are going to try and replace fuel pump and water fuel separator tmrw morning as long as I can find them here in Parker, if u guys have any suggestions I'd greatly appreciate it!! It's so crazy, ran perfect at puddingstone 4 days ago, literally all I did is put new battery and top one tank off at Parker today??? Someone telling me it may be the dual tank switch? To bypass it?

Theres Spanky's and NAPA in town and should have what you need.
If you have in-line fuel filters those get clogged, and need to be changed

I'd look at the fuel tank switch, mine was bad when I bought my boat...A hole I bought it from knew it and didn't say anything, let me get stuck out on the water 1st trip out. $30 part

I had a port tank issue like that. It was the fuel selector valve was shot. Pull it and replace then take it apart and check the o rings

Yes
If the fuel line will allow you could try running direct from 1 tank to see if fuel switch is the problem. When they go bad you can usually run off of 1 tank.
No to disconnecting fuel line and have fuel run out of line. Pick up tube is on top of your tank reaching down to bottom.

Ok so now it's getting plenty of fuel but still is acting starved, weird question, could it be the alternator? I have no idea how old it is and I know it would make it do weird shit if it was going out... Thanks everyone!!

i had this problem with mine kinda. I had water in my tanks. Had to drain both tanks, air them out and refilled them. Blew the lines out and drained the bowls on the carb then everything was fine.

Had a similar problem secondary float was stuck

I would pull the bowls if you have water in the fuel you will see it then. Check floats and needle & seats. A video would help us help you.

2nd this .. I had an issue with the fittings at the top of my tanks that the fuel lines connect to clogging/ causing to starve for fuel . Apparently there's a little ball and spring in there that doesn't like old fuel debris.

Well got it back from gs today, there was an o ring that came off my quick change jet plates and was clogging the gas in one of the needles or seats... Seems to b perfect now, gonna take it to puddingstone in the morning to be sure... Thanks everyone for the input!!! 🙏

Check their schedule though. They do odd even days for PWC and boats.

i will check it out thanks

It is a good lake to tune your idle though. There a large no wake zone on the west side

Pretty strict with inspections. Odd/even days are enforced from memorial day through labor day. Good luck.
-
I went to puddingstone like 2 weeks ago, even days are boats, odd is pwc, they don't do inspections, it's like 10-20$ and u can't go past 35 and u have to go in circle. Good to test, oh and u can't go over 12 mph until after 10 am... Nieghbors have a rule, sheriff was quick to come tell me but very cool...
