Title: 455 sizes

How big can you take a 455 to? Trying to read up but it's all related to cars not jets.

Just depends on how much pain your wallet can take.  It really isnt a design that lends itself well to high rpm or high horsepower. Bearing speeds get insane and not a lot of aftermarket support either.  But Bulldog, Rockett and others can build you 500+ if'n you really want it.

I think old man Mondello used to say up to 0.100" with a sonic (wall thickness) test.  But I don't recall if he mentioned what the minimum wall should be.  Certainly 0.060" is safe.  Thousands of 455 jets running a 0.060" overbore.

So 30 over would be a real safe number and allow more power and torque. Plus it would be a little easier on the wallet

Yes.  Way safe.  Concentrate on oil control, which has been hashed to death over and over on this and other forums.
