What are your opinions on where I want to place my batteries? Currently they are all the way back by the transom.  I d like to put both right behind my bench seat to have less clutter where peeps would be getting into the boat from the swim steps. Its a 20.5 mini day cruiser. There would be one battery on each side of the stringers.
