Title: 460 ford Alternator wiring diagram

Have a harman marine 460 BBF . Built in 1994 . I am having a charging issue . It isnt charging ......It has three wires coming out of the back . The largest wire goes to the battery and the 2 smaller ones are just sitting there . Are those suppose to be connected to something? Thanks
