If you are feeling like you want to make it up, as suggested, here's a parts breakdown.  (I used 5/8" hose fittings, but if you have 1/2" hose, those fittings are just as a available.  Home depot should carry all the parts indicated.  If you are in O.C., I like to use McFadden Dale Hardware.

X2 on HD... most auto part stores will carry the cheapo plastic one.

Mcfadden Dale is like a really good Home Depot without all the crap you dont need. Lots of cool shit in there. They close at 5pm during the week and 12 or 1 on saturdays. Awesome place, clean, and organized. But a little pricey. But you will find what you are looking for.

I have to walk in with my guard up, soooo much cool stuff in there to throw money at LOL

I used a tee like this then just got a garden hose adapter  and screwed it onto the NPT , works great for me

They sell the same plastic deal at autozone for a couple dollars.

I use brass because it's readily  available, strong,  corrosion resistant and cheap.

If you have access to stainless fittings  (most of us do not), think about how much better that would be than a piece of ABS.

Most stainless I have used has been unreasonably heavy, not to mention expensive.

Gt I bet that's fixing to change... I work in the wholesale plumbing industry and have for prob the last 18 years or so... We are fixing to change all of our brass fittings and nipples over to stainless steel... Copper and brass are slowly pricing their selves out of the market... We can buy the ss fittings cheaper than we can the brass... It's just getting the set in their way plumbers to change lol
