Title: 460 Ford Starter is staying open

In need of a little bit a help, just dropped in a new stroker motor got the engine to fire but having a problem with the power staying open on the engine block terminal, which is keeping the starter turning. Any help is much appreciated.

Does it only stay hot after you start it or is it hot as soon as you turn power on to the boat?

I had a similar issue once. Trace your wiring. That’s where my issue was.
