Title: 540 engine
Post by: herrhauptman on April 28, 2015, 05:49:41 AM
I finally finished my 540 Brodix I have been working on for a couple of years. I just took it to Edmonton to check it out on a dyno before installation. I am delighted with the results.  It makes huge torque and knocks on 800 h.p.  I did not run it past 6000 as it is a boat engine.  The engine I had previously made 565 so this will be a noticeable improvement.  Naturally aspirated, with no power adders. Hopefully, it will be reliable and give years of service.

Very cool.  Do you have plans for pump up grades, and how do you prepare for 800hp?

Zip the Lifeline all the way up and call the insurance company and up the covered value.

Hahaha!
