Title: 76 eliminator set up

Just got my first boat spending some time getting it set up. 1976 Eliminator  460 Berkeley Jet. Supposedly has a little head work and a mild cam. Couple questions.
Just installed a weiand stealth intake and supposedly has a 750 carb. Would I be better off with a 850? Should I use a spacer?
Also I want to install a water pressure gauge will fuel pressure gauge work for water? Has anybody drilled and tapped a gauge Outlet on there water Outlet housing? Or should it be installed elsewhere?

Before you invest in a bigger carb test the one you have with a vacuumed gauge attached to your intake. If the pressure is near zero at WOT then an 850 is not necessary IMO. There should be a couple different spots on your intake you can attach a pressure gauge to a water passage. No need to drill and tap. Here is where I have mine. As yes a gauge that says fuel will work.

Looks like your thermostat housing has a plug where you can install your gauge as well.
