Title: Aluminum head pitting

That's electrolysis.  They can be saved.  How deep are the pits?

I have used a good citrus hot tank,  glass bead, fill imperfections with Belzona 1111 and machine flat.

Looks to me like the wrong gaskets were used.

That's GT good to hear . There not too deep .. But they do need to be fixed?
Who should I take them too ?

Easy fix... Grind out ALL the rot and then tig weld up... Then surface flat and you're back in business good as new. I do this all the time on customer's heads... And beyond... It's just a matter of having the right tools and knowing what you're doing...

Good example:
Pair of Ford heads I did for a guy on here... So rotten that they leaked on the outsides. Now... Flat and sealed up bitchen.

Just depends on how much rot and welding needed... Typically the grind/weld repair parts runs between 50-100 (minor to major) and cc & surface runs 95 bucks... I cc all pairs of heads that I surface just because I want to make sure they come out exactly the same.
