Title: aluminum/s.s scoop for a 750cfm holley
Post by: Beaveretriever on January 03, 2009, 04:26:34 PM
im looking for a scoop for a holley, single set up. im thinking about building one at my brothers shop. can anyone get me a picture of the mounting system that is used for securing the scoop? the more pictures the better, or if someone might have one for a nice cheap price i might just by yours.

Thanks

most use the flame arrester and a wing nut or, you can drill a hole in it and use a stud or, you can build a u shaped bracket that sits inside the scoop. sorry no pics

Brand new stanless one for 100.00 bucks, cost 160.00. Driving from San Diego to downtown LA tomorrow, could drop it off.
I use a piece of 1/4 allthread w/ a nut, a 3 x 8 spark arrestor it's tight, but will fit.

How about 30.00 for the shifter?  I'll just bring it tomorrow, if you want it fine, if you dont it'll just go back on the shelf.                       Ron
