I just picked up my first boat, a 1977 Pioneer Jet boat, and after running it with water to check everything I have no oil pressure in the motor. #REDFLAG

So, I think it is time for a rebuild just to be safe. My question is if anyone knows of someone who builds MARINE 460 motors in the San Diego area? Also what mods or parts you recommend for the build?

The current setup is the 77 HARMAN MARINE ENGINE 460 HM7, Holley 650 carb, edelbrock performer intake, and is running a Berkeley 12-jg-a pump. I'm new to the Ford motors and know nothing about them, so I am looking for your help on what is recommended on a build to be reliable while still being able to have some fun.

Your ideas and or links to products are greatly appreciated.

I was contacted by someone from the shop via Facebook when I asked a question on a FB video of a 460. This guy seems to know his stuff and threw a bunch of options at me right off the bat!

I was looking to ask the same question, but I'm located in Murrieta. Any recommendations around this area, I also have a Ford 460.
